Tax Service
There is no catch. The students have spent an entire course studying personal income taxes, and are trained with the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. You can choose to either come to a Tax Session or drop off your documentation in a sealed envelope to the Commerce and Business Administration office in room 4300 (open monday through friday from 8am to 4pm) and receive notification once completed.
The dates of the Tax Sessions are as follows:
Mondays from 4:00 to 7:00 from March 21 through April 18th in room 4360
Saturdays from 12:30 to 3:00 from March 19 through April 30 in room 4360
What to Bring?
• SIN Number (Tax Number for International Students)
• T2202 Form (available on http://registrar.douglas.bc.ca)
• T4 Slips (for all places where you earned employment income in 2009)
• T3 and T5 Slips (if you have any)
• 2009 Notice of Assessment
• Scholarship receipts/awards received in the taxation year
• Donations, RRSP contribution receipts, and any other tax forms
